Friday Nintendo finally confirmed that the 4 MB RAM cartridge (tentatively called the Nintendo 64 Memory Expansion Pak) will be made available in the US in November and in Europe sometime in the fourth quarter. The unit will cost US$29.95 and fits into the memory expansion slot on the top of the system. With the additional RAM, games like Extreme G 2, Turok 2 and Rogue Squadron will be playable in high resolution mode.
Additionally, Rare titles like Perfect Dark will use the RAM upgrade.
