As you may know, last year Nintendo took legal action against Prima Publishing for their use of GoldenEye maps it claimed were from Nintendo's own official guide book. Well, in a rather astonishing turn of events, Nintendo and Prima have settled their differences, and better yet - have formed an alliance.
First off, the two companies have settled their dispute in a satisfactory way. Second, Nintendo has granted Prima an official license with respect to game guidebooks for the future - a first for Nintendo, who previously published only its own strategy guides.
Nintendo says that the agreement will not stop it from continuing to publish its Nintendo Player's Guide strategy books and Nintendo Power magazine.
