  If the Financial Times is to be believed, Nintendo will be increasing production of the Nintendo Switch to meet demand.

  Nintendo’s new hybrid platform has been selling extremely well since its release this March. According to Nintendo, the Switch is the company’s fastest-selling system to date, even beating Wii and Gameboy Advance sales. Retailers are reporting that the Switch is selling out instantly and a Nintendo spokesperson recently stated that initial Switch units were carried by plane to meet demand around the platform’s launch.

  According to sources close to the Financial Times, fans who wants to purchase a Switch, revert to secure a unit an informal online market in “Switch future”, and to meet be able to meet demand during this year’s holiday season.

  Nintendo's current fiscal year (FY2018) kicked off on April 1st and runs till March 31, 2018. The rumored production increase would put Switch sales during its first year in Sony’s PS4 territory. As always, we will keep you updated on this matter.
