Back in July, NieR Automata unofficial modding tools were revealed online with an elaborate hoax that suggested that the game developed by Yoko Taro and PlatinumGames still had some secrets to discover. Now, players all over the world can experience this new area themselves, as the Church mod is now available for download.

　　The mod, which can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, introduces a brand new area to the game. Modder SadFutago suggests being at least level 90 before heading into the church to take on the enemies within without too many troubles. Changes and improvements are also expected to come in the future.

　　If this is your first time playing, people make sure you are at around level 90 and remove chips such as overclock and shock wave. Just so you're not super overpowered

　　Highly recommend using NAMH to install this mod. Or just copy the data folder into your game folder.

　　Other versions of the church will come, ex. lite version, raw files, etc.

　　I also recommend not playing the regular story with the normal version of the mod installed (lite version suggested).

　　This is version 1.0, improvements may come and even bigger changes.

　　NieR Automata is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One worldwide. The game will launch on Nintendo Switch on October 6th worldwide.
