Blizzard has announced that Diablo 4 patch 1.1.4 will be released next week on September 12 with this patch buffing the Urn of Aggression.
Last week, Blizzard confirmed the arrival of a new patch before the start of Season 2 'Season of Blood' next month. Fast forward five days, and Blizzard has now detailed Diablo 4 patch 1.1.4. Aside from buffing the Urn of Agression season blessing from 8% to 20%, this new patch packs various bug fixes. In addition, the patch includes various visual, performance, and stability fixes.
"We increased the total experience bonus of Urn of Aggression to make the Season Blessing more impactful and to help players seeking Level 100 get there a little faster", the Diablo 4 development team explains.
Going by the official patch notes, this update isn't a major one, but it does address some annoying issues, including an issue that caused progression for the Remembering the Goose quest to be blocked if the player teleported using the Town Portal or exited the game immediately after placing Tavish's dagger. Also, this patch fixes an issue where progression for the Poisoned Hearts quest could be blocked if the player left the area in the middle of Aneta's dialogue with Vera. We suggest reading the full patch notes on Blizzard's official website.
Diablo 4 is avaialble worldwide now for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. As confirmed some days ago, the game will be receiving annual expansions with General Manager Rod Fergusson already having confirmed that the team is working on at least two expansions. "That’s the thing we’re focused on", Fergusson said in a review interview about the team's future for Diablo 4. "When you look at the launch of the game and this first season, we see that as building a foundation on which we can build for the future. So, as we look at our quarterly seasons, and we look at our annual expansions, those are the things that we’re really focused on for our live service."
