One of the most interesting features coming in Dishonored 2, the new entry of the series launching next month on PC and consoles, is the ability to control Emily Kadwin, who will come with a set of skills that will make her quite different from Corvo. If you're wondering how much Emily will differ from the other character, you definitely need to check out a new gameplay trailer that's been made available today.
Today's Dishonored 2 gameplay trailer, which can be watched right below, showcases the Clockwork Mansion mission, where Emily deals with enemies using her lethal skills.
One highly complex location, two objectives. How will you make your way through the Clockwork Mansion when Dishonored 2 launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on November 11?
In this developer playthrough, you’ll be able to see Emily Kaldwin’s lethal skills on full display as she artfully slices her way through everything in her path, before putting an end to Delilah’s Grand Inventor, Kirin Jindosh.
Dishonored 2 is promising to be one of the best games launching in the next few weeks, with an experience that will require players to play through the game multiple times to see and understand everything. According to Arkane's co-founder Harvey Smith, players will only be able to see only 25% of the game during the first playthrough.
But we do have a lot of players who go through many times, because in Dishonored you cannot see everything at once. You probably only see 25% of the game if you play it once. There’s a path on the right; a path over the roof; a path on the left; or maybe you just possessed a fish and swam around in the river. And you can’t do all of them; you have to choose one.
Dishonored 2 launches on November 11th on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in all regions. You can learn more about the game by checking out our hands-on preview
