Congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots on today's respective NFC and AFC Championship wins. Both teams won in convincing fashion, especially New England--who finally made Big Ben look like the rookie he is. I'm not sure the Eagles have a chance against that Patriots defense, especially if Owens doesn't make it into the game, but I'm certain it will be a good game, with more than a few great storylines on both sides of the ball: the Eagles breaking their NFC Championship curse and earning their first trip to the Super Bowl since 1981, the coalescing greatness of Donovan McNabb, the emergence of those other Eagles wideouts.
For the Pats, we're well beyond being surprised by their greatness. Anyone who doubts Tom Brady's abilities at this point is either blind or a Yankees fan. At only 27 years old, it's not too early to start mentioning Brady's name in the same sentence with the phrase "Hall of Fame", especially if he wins another Super Bowl.
So, now's the time to call your shots. Let's get our Super Bowl party started early. Who's your pick: Eagles or Patriots?
