The PlayStation version of Dead or Alive is now 40 percent done. This game will be compatible with Dual Shock controller but won't support analog control. The PlayStation version of DoA also features three brand-new battle stages such as a night suburban area, near the river. The game is slated for a March release.
Ascii is planning to release a special controller for Bio Hazard/Resident Evil. The controller is specially designed for Resident Evil's gameplay. It looks similar to the original PlayStation controller, but the layout of the buttons is different. The right grip is shaped just like a gun grip, and it has a square button mounted on it, used for shooting in the game. You push the button with your index finger, just like pulling a trigger. The other buttons are also located differently. The circle, triangle, X (for dash), and R1 (for action) buttons are laid out for your right thumb.
The controller will be released on February 26 for 3,300 yen. Picture courtesy of Digital Game Busters.
