Dynamix and Sierra have updated their Tribes 2 armory with a brand-new rendered image of the BioDerm Light Carapace. Called the Scythe, this light-armored BioDerm will have the primary role of scouting, reconnaissance, and quick assaults. Like their human counterparts, the BioDerms will also be available in medium- and heavy-armor and will be equipped with jump jets for enhanced mobility.
Tribes 2 is tentatively scheduled for a mid- to late- 2000 release.
