Although we reported on rumors behind a massively multiplayer Star Wars game months ago, LucasArts only officially announced its existence last week. This morning, however, USA Today reported some new details behind the game. According to the article, the game will focus on the series' "classic" episodes and not the more recent Phantom Menace movie. The article also stated that players will assume the roles of bounty hunters, mercenaries, and rebel soldiers and won't be able to play as any of the famous movie characters like Luke Skywalker and Han Solo. Players will also be unable to play as any Imperial personnel.
As we learn more details of the game, we'll keep you updated.
