Now Playing: Introducing The New PlayStation App Trailer
As you can see from PlayStation's teaser image below, some of the games represented include Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Horizon: Forbidden West, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and Demon's Souls. You can also choose avatars from Spider-Man: Miles Morales, The Last of Us: Part II, and several other games.
An array of new pre-set avatars from upcoming titles will be available for your Profile starting tomorrow — here’s a peek! pic.twitter.com/ggtGjHatpn
— PlayStation (@PlayStation) October 28, 2020
The new avatars come as Sony introduced a completely new PlayStation mobile app. It includes a native store--something now lacking in the Xbox mobile app after its own overhaul--as well as built-in party chat, remote downloading, console storage management, and more.
The PS5 will be available on November 12 along with the PS5 Digital Edition. We have a full PS5 unboxing to help make the wait easier, as well as a hands-on test of the new DualSense controller. Stay tuned to GameSpot for even more news on the PS5 and upcoming games.
