Mad Catz introduced its new Hand Held Racing Wheel for the Sony PlayStation. The wheel includes tactile rubber grips, a stylized ergonomic handheld design, plus eight fully programmable buttons and a four-way hat switch.

　　Currently, the new Hand Held Racing Wheel is the only handheld wheel with Dual Force and features steering wheel, dual analog, and digital modes for maximum compatibility. The Dual Force technology provides full force feedback with all Dual Shock games.

　　Mad Catz has also rereleased its Dual Force Analog Controller for the PlayStation. The controller has the same design, feel, force feedback, and functions as the original but will no longer rely on a separate battery power source. The original controller used two AA batteries to provide Dual Shock feedback.

　　In related Mad Catz news, the company has revealed the latest concept in console gaming, the MC Sports Line for the PlayStation and Nintendo 64.

　　MC Sports Line will feature electric blue controllers known as "Sport Pads" for both the PlayStation and Nintendo 64, a Multi-Port for the PlayStation allowing gameplay with up to five people, and its unique memory cards known as the "Sport Pack" for the Nintendo 64 and the "Sport Card" for the PlayStation. These memory cards are shaped into custom-molded sports balls and are part of Mad Catz's signature sports line.
