GameSpot News learned on Thursday that Konami will release Metal Gear: Ghost Babel for the Game Boy Color in Japan. Hideo Kojima, the original game's director, will produce the new Metal Gear title. The same team that handled the original Metal Gear Solid will develop the new game.
Players will once again play the role of Solid Snake. The game will be divided into different stages and will sport a 2D top view similar to that of the classic Metal Gear titles. More than 180 VR stages will be featured in the game, and the game can also be played with another player through the cable link. No release date and price have been set yet, and there has been no official word on a North American release. GameSpot News will keep you posted as more information comes to light.
