Ubi Soft has sent over several new screenshots from Jade Cocoon 2 for the Sony PlayStation 2. The French publisher announced the North American release of the game at E3. Originally developed by Genki, the game uses a straightforward battle interface where players are able to select from one of 10 monsters and perform attacks with simple one-button commands. Additional gameplay depth is added with the monster raising and breeding elements, which are based on the experience points that are accrued during battles.
Jade Cocoon 2 is currently scheduled for release on December 11. We'll have more information when it becomes available.
