Koei's Dynasty Warriors 3, although quite similar to the last installment in the series in terms of gameplay, will include more playable characters and new environments. The game's AI has also been improved, when compared with that of last year's game. Melee and ranged combatants on both sides will make intelligent decisions on the battlefield. The game's release is currently set for later this year, but today GameSpot brings you a new trailer for the game, courtesy of Gamewave DVD. The trailer shows off both real-time gameplay and prerendered FMV sequences. Based on the rich Romance of Three Kingdoms mythology, the game features three warring kingdoms: Wei, Wu, and Shu.
