Capcom of Japan revealed today some new features of the Sega Dreamcast version of Street Fighter III W Impact. The game is a compilation of two SFIII titles: Street Fighter III and Street Fighter III 2nd Impact.
Players will be able to play as two boss characters - Gouki and/or Gill - as well as both games' standard characters. The game is similar to Inferno in Soul Calibur in that players will have to unlock the bosses as playable characters in the game. Gill was an unplayable boss character in both titles and Gouki was only playable in Street Fighter III 2nd Impact.
In case it is too difficult and players can't unlock the characters themselves, players can use Internet mode to download the unlock code to unlock Gill. Players can also edit game screen displays, such as the life gauge and super-arts gauge, and they can change the setting for the super arts gauge and the guard system.
Street Fighter III W Impact for the Sega Dreamcast will release in Japan this December 16 at a price of 6800 yen (about US$64). The game is compatible with the Puru-Puru pack, Arcade Stick controller, and the VGA box.
