New details: Aerial Aces
New details: Aerial Aces-September 2024
Sep 19, 2024 6:11 PM

Majesco has released the first information on Aerial Aces for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. The game features both classic stunt airplanes and outlandish fictional aircraft. Players assume the role of one of several wacky pilots, and they must fly using one of six cockpit-based views as they collect bonus balloons while avoiding antiaircraft batteries. During the mission-based gameplay, players can perform such maneuvers as barrel and aileron rolls. In the game, up to four players can compete at once using the GBA link cable.

"The appeal of Aerial Aces is sure to be widespread due its wining combination of classic aerial combat, arcade appeal, and multiplayer functionality," said Dan Kitchen, vice president of handheld development for Majesco. "High-flying humor adds flavor to the game's competitive action."

Aerial Aces is being developed by Pipe Dream Interactive and will have a more tongue-in-cheek look and feel, as opposed to Majesco's other GBA flight game, F-14 Tomcat. Aerial Aces will be released this summer for the GBA.
