Microsoft has released a new screenshot from its upcoming 3D real-time strategy game, Age of Mythology. The new screenshot depicts a waterfall scene in a desert environment, along with some of the structures that will be featured in the game.
Age of Mythology is set in an ancient world where gods and mythological creatures coexist with humans. Three civilizations--the Norse, the Egyptians, and the Greeks--battle for control of the land. Players choose to command one of the civilizations, and they must win the favor of gods, heroes, and creatures in order to be victorious.
Age of Mythology is in development at Ensemble Studios, the creator of the popular Age of Empires real-time strategy series, and it is scheduled for release in mid-2002. For more information, take a look at our in-depth preview of the game.
