Seoul-based NCsoft Corporation, the world's largest online game company, has today announced the acquisition of ArenaNet. The development studio was founded in 2000 by the three key members of the Blizzard Entertainment development team with previous experience of working on games in the Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo series.

"The people at ArenaNet have an established track record in this industry of creating some of the most innovative and successful game titles ever. We're very excited to bring this gifted and talented team to NCsoft. They will make an already strong online product lineup even stronger."
NCsoft's existing lineup includes Trade Wars: Dark Millennium , Trade Wars: Dark Millennium , and Trade Wars: Dark Millennium , the upcoming sequel to the popular online RPG Trade Wars: Dark Millennium .
