Na'vi's win over Fnatic in the DreamLeague Grand Finals was as convincing as their loss to Fnatic yesterday in the winners finals was. An elated Alexander 'XBOCT' Dashkevich would give the camera a thumbs up as he walked over to give the members of a crestfallen Fnatic a handshake.

For their efforts Na'vi would pocket $25,000.

Fnatic would, notably, spend a lot of their early bans this series trying to make sure that Na'vi's captain Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov couldn't get his signature Chen or Enchantress. In the one instance in which Enchantress got through, in game three, they'd ban out Elder Titan which had proven to be a menace game one. Na'vi's high priority ban would Nature's Prophet, a hero that Fnatic's Kalle 'Trixi' Saarinen shines on.

Game One Na'vi Bans: Nature's Prophet, Lifestealer, Venomancer, Batrider, Weaver

Game One Na'vi Picks: Elder Titan, Crystal Maiden, Luna, Templar Assassin, Windranger

Game One Fnatic Bans: Enchantress, Chen, Outworld Devourer, Gyrocopter, Bounty Hunter

Game One Fnatic Picks: Io, Tiny, Puck, Enigma, Dark Seer

Fnatic set up a lot of early kill's with the Io and Tiny combo, but it, unfortunately for them, never snowballed into a massive lead. Huge burst damage and crowd control was the name of the game for Na'vi. Elder Titan, Luna, and Templar Assassin can really tear a team apart, and, with more roots and slows between them than I can count, the lineup would eventually prove to just be too much for Fnatic to handle.

Game Two Na'vi Bans: Elder Titan, Nature's Prophet, Io, Bouny Hunter, RazorGame Two Na'vi Picks: Lifestealer, Crystal Maiden, Windranger, Luna, Lich

Game Two Fnatic Bans: Chen, Enchantress, Puck, Bounty Hunter, Outworld Devourer

Game Two Fnatic Picks: Weaver, Venomancer, Mirana, Bane, Nightstalker

Despite winning, Na'vi would give Fnatic a nod and ban out Io after getting rid of Elder Titan and Nature's Prophet. The early game would go okayish for Fnatic, as they managed to get picks on Lich and Lifestealer in the early game. Na'vi's ability to punish folks out of position would get them back in the game, and eventually the win. Shackle Shot into Open Wounds into anything from Crystal Maiden and you're dead. Shackle Shot into Beam into anything from Crystal Maiden and you're dead. Mix, match, and add Lich, and it becomes very easy to see how Na'vi were getting kills.

Game Three Na'vi Bans: Nature's Prophet, Lifestealer, Batrider, Puck, Razor

Game Three Na'vi Picks: Io, Enchantress, Chaos Knight, Outworld Devourer, Clockwerk

Game Three Fnatic Bans: Chen, Elder Titan, Gyrocopter, Luna, Bounty Hunter

Game Three Fnatic Picks: Venomancer, Windranger, Invoker, Sand King, Pugna

Fnatic had banned Outworld Devourer in the previous two games and it became very apparent why in game three. Na'vi's Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin would play a fierce Outworld Devourer this game, and the rest of his team were no slouches either. Paying homage to Fnatic's strategy in game one Na'vi would masterfully execute an Io/Chaos Knight combo, and end the series leaving few people doubting they were the better team today. Fnatic players would playfully type "EZ" and "plz no" as the Na'vi squad won fight after fight.

Congratulations to Na'vi, and to ASUS ROG and DreamHack for running a successful kick-off season for DreamLeague.
