Oct 19, 2024 9:32 PM

TOKYO--Namco today announced that it has entered the online PC game market in Korea, starting with the launch of online editions of Galaga and Mr. Driller. The company has signed an agreement with Korean content provider Eolith, which has began distributing the two games in Korea through its online service, Wagame. To incorporate multiplayer online gaming, the two titles have a versus mode, where the first to clear all the stages will win. Namco plans to release more online PC games in Asia in the future and aims to mark annual sales of 2 billion yen ($18 million) in the sector after March 2006.
