Mplayer is signing up golf sim aficionados for the CNN/SI Links Challenge, which is scheduled to kick off on June 18. Virtual duffers will compete playing Access Software's Links LS '98 in three categories (championship, pro, and amateur) for more than US$8,000 in cash and prizes. The two top finishers in the tournament will take home $1,000 cash and a DirecTV package.
It'll cost players $14.95 to enter ($9.95 if they're already subscribing to Mplayer's premium-level membership).
