Oct 30, 2024 3:29 AM

Another leak provided the Monster Hunter World PC requirements ahead of tomorrow's scheduled official reveal when CAPCOM is set to share lots of details on the upcoming release including the launch date.

As reported by Twitter user @Yangvase, CAPCOM will publish Monster Hunter World for PC via Tencent's WeGame store in China. After the announcement, a page went live on the store with the Monster Hunter World PC requirements.

The page is now seemingly inaccessible, but the snapshots provided by Yangvase indicate the following specs:

  Minimum Requirements

  Intel i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz8GB RAMNVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 GPU25GB of HDD spaceWindows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 OSRecommended Requirements

Intel i7-3370 CPU @3.40GHZ8GB RAMNVIDIA GeForce GTX 106025GB of HDD spaceWindows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 OSWe'll know tomorrow whether the specs are final and, more importantly, when PC players will be able to finally get their hands on Monster Hunter World.

The game launched in late January for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and garnered widespread praise from the press (including Kai's review) and great response from physical and digital stores, making it the best-selling CAPCOM game ever.

Capcom’s first full-fledged Monster Hunter on the latest generation of consoles (with PC to follow later this year) is among one of the strongest sequels to any RPG I’ve ever played. Nearly every quality of life improvement works out in World’s favor and makes the experience more immersive and accessible, rather than trying to dumb it down for a newer audience (I certainly won’t miss trying to knock out a Fatalis with an orange sharpness hammer just because I was an idiot that didn’t bring enough Whetstones). We’re only just in the first month of 2018 and already I can claim that Monster Hunter World might very well be my own personal Game of the Year.
