The release of Mortal Kombat 4 is closer than expected. Ed Boon updated his web site Thursday and stated that the game is in production and will soon be hitting arcades nationwide.
The game has evidently gone through several revisions since the MK4 Road Tour, which ended nearly a month ago.
Currently, the game has 12 playable characters, with at least 3 more secret characters. The final version of the game also now has an intro comprised of some full-motion video sequences.
