Developer Mojang Studios has confirmed that its recently released dungeon crawler Minecraft Dungeons will get some new DLC very soon. Across Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, Minecraft Dungeons is slated to received two pieces of content, with the first arriving sometime this July.

　　Jungle Awakens is Minecraft Dungeons' first piece of DLC. It will introduce three new missions, weapons, armor, and artifacts all within a distant jungle that houses some mysterious power. Additionally, Jungle Awakens will bring about new enemy types, including the Leapleaf, Jungle Zombie, Poison Quill Vine, and more.

　　The second DLC, Creeping Winter, is said to drop "later this year." Details about this piece of content have not been divulged as of yet, though Mojang Studio said "sneak peeks" will be coming.

　　Both Jungle Awakens and Creeping Winter will be available to players who own Minecraft Dungeons' Hero Edition, which retails $30. Mojang Studio has not clarified how much these DLC packs will cost individually. Minecraft Dungeons is available for free through Xbox Game Pass, and subscribers will save 10% on any purchased DLC.

　　In addition to these new pieces of DLC, Mojang Studio also confirmed other free content will be coming to Minecraft Dungeons later down the road. This includes cross-play functionality between all consoles, "cool new free content" for everyone regardless of edition, and more. Details will be shared "in the coming weeks."
