The robot simulation/strategy game MindRover: The Europa Project can now be run with hardware that supports Direct3D. Though the initial game would only run with OpenGL, CogniToy has released a patch for the game that includes GLDirect, a graphics driver technology that allows OpenGL games to use Direct3D drivers. MindRover was released late last year, and it lets players create and program autonomous robotic vehicles, which must then go out and complete various tasks.
The updated demo is now available here at GameSpot.
