Sony Computer Entertainment America announced Monday that sales of the PlayStation in November alone exceeded one million units. The company says that retail reports from November 2 through November 29 show that sales have reached an all-time high of 1.01 million units.
"We knew that the PlayStation would lead the competition in holiday sales, but explosive growth in such a short period of time surpasses even our most optimistic predictions," Jack Tretton, SCEA, said in a statement.
SCEA says that it expect sales for December to go beyond that of all previous months' sales.
