Mobile game developer and publisher Mforma is wasting no time putting recently acquired capital to use. A little over a week ago, the company secured an additional $40 million in venture capital. Today, the Washington-based company announced the acquisition of UK-based game developer Blue Beck. Blue Beck is a 3-year-old studio that has developed games for publishers including THQ, Jamdat Mobile, Electronic Arts, and Mforma. Terms of the deal were not revealed.
