BioWare announced Friday that it is working on the sequel to MDK for both the PC and Dreamcast. MDK2 will be published by Interplay for a fourth-quarter 1999 release on the Dreamcast with the PC version to follow shortly after.
BioWare says that the sequel will surpass the original and uses the company's Omen Engine. The Edmonton, Alberta, Canada-based BioWare's credits include Shattered Steel for the PC and the upcoming Baldur's Gate, both published by Interplay.
