It has been available for free download for owners of Magic: The Gathering Spells of the Ancients for two weeks now, but MicroProse Thursday announced the global availability of ManaLink, the multiplayer update for the computer version of Magic: The Gathering.

　　ManaLink is available now in five languages, MicroProse says - English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German.

　　The update enables two players to duel over the Internet, chat, send messages, and taunt opponents. The ManaLink software also enables a "live" player environment, allowing players to view a list of other Magic players who are currently online and playing over the Internet. Players are able to sort potential opponents by attributes such as rank and location.

　　The company has shipped the PC title Magic: The Gathering Duels of the Planewalkers, which it calls "a compilation of everything a player needs tocompete in Magic play on the Internet." It includes the original Magic: The Gathering CD-ROM game, the ManaLink update, and cards for The Dark and Legends card sets.

　　Total Entertainment Network is the host for the product's Internet gameplay conducted over the GatheringNet web site.
