DICE has deployed yet another patch for the PlayStation 4 version of multiplayer shooter Battlefield 4, which has been best with issues since launch. Today's game update promises to improve general stability by eliminating a "large amount" of client crashes.

The developer said you may need to restart your game to have the Battlefield 4 update install. What's more, DICE said it is already at work on the next update for the PS4 version, which will address player feedback.

The full change notes for the December 11 patch are available below.

General stability fixes that should remove a large amount of the client crashes we are currently seeing on the PS4Fixed the audio drop outs that could occur when playing on large maps. Typical map affected was Golmud Railway in Conquest with 64 players. Ambient sound would sometimes cut out, like foley sounds from player running, vehicle engine sounds, vehicle movement sounds, and map ambient soundsRemoved the blur effect on soldiers that appeared when Commanders were using EMP attacksFurther reduced the probability of getting a corrupt save file by doing miscellaneous changes to the save file system. These include removing the save file saving again when quitting multiplayerFixed multiple crashes that could occur when bringing up the in-game Battlelog during round transitionFixed a crash that could occur when using the BattleScreenFixed a random crash related to destroying vehiclesFixed minor destruction issues in the terrain
