...to buy a wrestling game on the Xbox, something like Wrestlemania XXI comes along. Nobody wanted this game to be good more than me, but my god, what a train wreck this game turned out to be. If you haven't been following all the drama, not only is the game sloppy purely on its own merits, it also happens to feature an online mode that won't even connect. THQ has released a statement, saying they're working on a patch to fix online. Wait...what? How the hell are you going to fix an online mode that won't connect via a downloadable patch? Doesn't this game also not even support downloadable content? Sigh...
I'm personally flabbergasted by the whole situation. Never in the history of Xbox Live has a game been released that promised XBL support, and not worked. How this game slipped through the cracks and made it onto store shelves is beyond me. What do you all think? Voice your thoughts on this phenomenal cluster****.
