Image credit - GosugamersTournament wins seemingly come easily for Jason 'Amaz' Chan, currently the only Hearthstone player on the books of Team Liquid. Over the last few months we've seen him place top 4 at Dreamhack Bucharest as well as a top 2 finish at Dreamhack Summer, and afterwards win the Numericable M-House cup with ease; all with the help of his trusty Ragnaros. IEM Shenzhen was a tournament of storylines; from Cong 'Strifecro' Shu's Ancient Mage Shaman lighting up the community's eyes within the first few days, it was the semi-finals Dreamhack Summer final rematch against Dima 'Rdu' Radu that had the audience in awe. A battle of coin-flips fought long and hard in which Amaz eventually won. It was the only real trial for the man from Hong Kong who breezed through every other game, including a quick 3-0 win against the local Azeri in the finals. This win means that Chan becomes the highest grossing individual Hearthstone player, with a record total of $14,078.82 prize money won, an impressive feat for a non-Fight Night participant.
