Crave Entertainment announced that it, in conjunction with Genki, is releasing Jade Cocoon: The Story of Tamamayu in the US this summer for the PlayStation.
Jade is an RPG; the main character's name is Levant and his job, like his father's before him, is to learn how to use magic cocoons to deal with the monsters in the nearby woods. He can use the cocoons to either train the monsters or calm them down. The reason he needs to do all this? He has to save the Syrus people from an invasion by the Onibubu - the Swarm of Destruction.
Worth noting is that Katsuya Kondo from Studio Ghibli, the man reponsible for some of the most popular anime movies in Japan, heads up the artistic direction of the game.
