Oct 28, 2024 4:22 PM

Japanese publication Nihon Keizai Shimbun reports that former Sega president and current advisor to the company, Shoichiro Irimajiri, will leave Sega by the end of the month. Irimajiri, who orchestrated the Japanese launch of the Dreamcast console, recently stepped down from his position as president and has assumed the blame for the poor domestic sales of the console. The Japanese report claims that Irimajiri will continue his position as an external director for Delphi Automotive Systems. He worked at Japanese automobile maker Honda prior to joining Sega.
