InterAct Accessories has announced that it plans to develop an USB-compatible keyboard for the Sony PlayStation 2 called the SharkBoard. It can be used with any game that supports the keyboard peripheral, including Infogrames' Unreal Tournament for the PS2.
"We have sold over a hundred thousand GameShark 2's since our January 2001 launch, and the requests for SharkBoards are pouring in more than ever," John Hays, director of GameShark product development at InterAct, said. "The latest batch of PS2 games require long hex code entry and lots of patience, so the SharkBoard will be a real boost all around."
The SharkBoard will be released this May for a suggested retail price of $19.99.
