To get a glimpse of how far development has progressed and what we can expect when it's released, take a look through these seven new screenshots from Half-Life: Opposing Force. Being developed by Gearbox Studios, this first official add-on features a storyline that runs through the same chain of events as the original Half-Life. The main difference will be that gamers will get to play a soldier this time. New characters will include a security guard named Otis, a new scientist model, a drill sergeant and one new alien race. Industry veteran Levelord has already been announced as one of the multiplayer map designers.
More all-star level designers are being assembled and are due to be announced within a week or two.
