A lack of investor support and mass-market interest has forced Indrema to discontinue its plans to release the Indrema LS600 gaming platform. John Gildred, president of Indrema, confirmed the news in an interview with Video Business.
"Although there's a lot of interest in the product, the grim reality is that after six months of looking, we were not able to find funding to continue the operation," Gildred told the publication. "I already let go of several staff members and will have to let the rest of the staff go this week."
Several independent developers were working on games for the Indrema LS600, which was scheduled for release this summer.
