GT Interactive has opened its official Imperium Galactica II site at www.imperiumgalactica.com. The web site houses a compete suite of information designed to familiarize visitors with the upcoming game's interface and play mechanics. Additionally, visitors can download an 11MB preview trailer of the game from the site.
Imperium Galactica II is a space-colonization simulation that will let gamers advance their civilizations through research, production, unit design, colony management, starmap navigation, trading, diplomacy, spying, intelligence, and - ultimately - real-time space and ground battles. Players can choose to control one of eight races and compete to colonize up to 140 planets.
Imperium Galactica II is scheduled to ship in February 2000.
