SK Telecom T1 has announced that Jung "Impact" Eon-yeong has left the team to pursue other ventures. The departure of Impact means that three of the five players who won the 2013 World Championship will no long be competing under the wings of SK Telecom T1.
Impact, a veteran of Korean League of Legends, first made his impact upon the Korean scene as the support player for Xenics Storm. He formed a formidable bot lane partnership with Bae "SBS" Ji-hun until October 2012 where he moved to Xenics Tempest.
Impact eventually role swapped to top lane and was recruited into SK Telecom's secondary team along with a couple of highly ranked challenger and amateur players. The team, SK Telecom T1 K, went on to become the 2013 World Champions and are still widely considered the most dominant League of Legends team ever.
