Hudson has announced its first Dreamcast game called Kitahe (which means Heading North).
Hudson calls Kitahe a travel simulation. The main character is a high school boy. During his summer holiday, he travels through Hokkaido's main sight-seeing spots where he attempts to meet girls (there are eight girls in all). At this time, Hudson is also thinking about utilizing Dreamcast's network ability to expand the game.
Hokkaido is a district located north of Tokyo where Hudson's headquarters are located. It is positioning the game as part of a campaign called Move on Hokkaido. This campaign is being conducted by TV stations and newspapers around Hokkaido to energize the Hokkaido economy, which is currently not doing well. To promote Hokkaido to Japanese people, Hudson is planning an event for luring tourists in conjunction with the game (no word on whether or not the tourists will be able to attempt to pick up girls).
