How To Find White Raven In Apex Legends For Bloodhound's New Story Quest
How To Find White Raven In Apex Legends For Bloodhound's New Story Quest-November 2024
Nov 2, 2024 1:30 PM

Despite Apex Legends being a first-person shooter battle royale, the game has deep lore for both its characters and world. Respawn Entertainment has experimented in the past with different ways of injecting that lore into the game, including comics and single-player quests. Now, Respawn has introduced a new form of story to the game through Apex Chronicles, the first of which stars Bloodhound. In order to progress through the chapters of Old Ways, New Dawn, you will need to complete certain objectives within a battle royale match.

Where To Find The White Raven In Chapter 1

Chapter 1 requires you to find a White Raven on World's Edge and cannot be completed in a ranked lobby. You will need to make sure that World's Edge is the current map in the unranked trios and duos queue. If not, it rotates every few hours, so check back in later. I recommend picking the duos playlist so if you run into an enemy squad while attempting the quest there are only two of them instead of three. You should also turn off the fill squadmates option to guarantee you get to pick Bloodhound and aren't a bad teammate for solo dropping.

The White Raven you need to interact with is located near the Lava Siphon, however there multiple spawn locations around Lava Siphon, in the southern part of World's Edge, one of the new points of interest in Season 10. A small gold circle with a raven icon in the center will indicate the search area.

The gold circle indicates the search area for the White RavenThe area where you need to search appears to be different for each Bloodhound in a lobby, so the odds of 20 Bloodhounds dropping in the same spot are pretty low. When you get close to the White Raven, a special gold tracking icon will appear, indicating the bird is close.

One of the White Raven's spawn locations in Lava SiphonAfter interacting with the White Raven, it will fly away, giving you the task of tracking down an injured prowler. The prowler's tracks are marked by gold tracking icons which you will need to follow. After each handful of markers, a "progress saved" notification will appear on screen, indicating that even if you die, your progress in the quest has been checkpointed.

The gold "Injured Prowler" tracking iconThere appear to be multiple paths to track down the prowler, as I did not run into a single other Bloodhound during my quest. After following the markers for a couple hundred meters, you will once again find the White Raven. This time it will speak a line of dialogue before flying off. Once that happens the quest is complete and you will be awarded a couple of battle pass stars at the end of the match. Depending on when you complete this quest, the next chapter of Bloodhound's Apex Chronicle may or may not be available. Completing all chapters will award three Bloodhound Apex Packs.

Where To Find The White Raven In Chapter 2

To complete Chapter 2 of Bloodhound's Apex Chronicle, players will need to play a non-ranked match of battle royale on World's Edge as Bloodhound. I recommend queueing in the duos lobby and unselecting the fill players options; that way any enemy squads are smaller and you aren't a bad teammate for solo dropping. The white raven is going to be located in the northern part of World's Edge this time, appearing between Skyhook and Landslide. Like the first quest, there will be multiple different spawn points for the white raven, but the golden circle on the map will give you a starting point.

One of the White Raven's Chapter 2 spawn locationsFor me, the white raven spawned at the northern end of Skyhook, just outside one of the buildings there. When searching for the white raven, a golden tracking icon will appear when you get close to it. After finding the raven, you will need to interact with it, prompting you to start tracking an injured prowler.

The White Raven north of SkyhookAfter that, you will need to follow the golden tracking icons around the map. The injured prowler was a little over 500 meters away from my starting point. The path took me up through the train tunnel and southeast into The Epicenter, but this path may be different depending on your starting location. At the end of all the tracking points, you should once again find the white raven. During the tracking process, there will be multiple times when "progress saved" appears on the screen. If you should die during this process, you will be able to pick it back up from the last saved checkpoint in another match.

You need to once again interact with the raven and after a brief conversation between Bloodhound and the bird, a "tracking complete" notification should appear on the screen. At the end of the match, you will be awarded five battle pass stars and will have access to the chapter three quest for Bloodhound when it goes live.

Where To Find The White Raven In Chapter 3

Chapter 3 of Bloodhound's Apex Chronicle asks players to once again find the White Raven and continue tracking the injured prowler. This time the White Raven will be spawning in the area around the Epicenter on World's Edge. You will need to be playing as Bloodhound in a non-ranked battle royale lobby in order to see and interact with the White Raven. The location of the White Raven will be marked on the minimap by a gold circle.

The White Raven will start somewhere near The EpicenterAfter finding the White Raven you will need to follow the injured prowler's tracks. For me, the prowler was about 200 meters away and to the north of the initial start point. After traveling this distance you will find the raven again. After a short conversation, you will be tasked with tracking the injured prowler even further north, another 200 meters. At this point, you will find the White Raven for the third time, have another brief conversation with the White Raven, and then follow the Prowler Tracks a little further until Bloodhound says that the Prowler has climbed the mountain to die alone. At this point, the tracking will be complete and you will receive five battle pass stars at the end of the match. The finale will be unlocked and is immediately available.

How To Complete Bloodhound's Finale

The finale for Bloodhound's Apex Chronicle takes place in the Firing Range, which you will need to load into as Bloodhound after completing the first three chapters. Once in the range, you will need to access the dropship platform on the left side of the map. Don't worry about grabbing weapons or armor; the finale does not contain any combat.

The dropship can be called using the control panel on the platformThe dropship will take Bloodhound back to World's Edge, this time in a cavern that is not a part of the normal map. You need to follow the bloody prowler tracks through the cave while Bloodhound and the White Raven converse. The golden trackers don't appear in this section, however, as the path through the cave is linear. Eventually, you will find the dying prowler.

The injured prowlerAfter approaching the prowler, you are transported into some type of dreamscape, where other versions of Bloodhound will confront you. These versions will tell Bloodhound that they have failed, and you will need to press the button prompted on-screen in order to disagree. After a short cutscene, Bloodhound returns to the real world and stays with the prowler as it dies. The cutscene will end, sending you back to the main menu where you will receive three Bloodhound-themed Apex Packs for completing the entire quest.
