Developer Mythic Entertainment has added a significant new feature to the latest beta version of its soon-to-be-released online role-playing game, Dark Age of Camelot. Starting today, players participating in the game's beta test can test out horseback riding, which can be used to travel quickly between the game's towns. Currently, players simply need to find a "stable master" character in any town, pay a small amount of coin for a riding ticket, then give the ticket back to the stable master. The character will then be mounted on a horse, which will swiftly and automatically travel to the next town on the ticket, and move much faster than a character traveling on foot. Characters can dismount from horses simply by jumping off.
Dark Age of Camelot is a fantasy-themed online role-playing game based on classical Western European mythology. The game is scheduled for release later this month. For more information, take a look at our in-depth previews of the game.
