How to get all Demiguise Statues and Demiguise Moons in Hogwarts Legacy

The Alohomora spell allows you to unlock doors and containers in the game. The spell itself comes from Gladwin Moon, the caretaker of the school. When you initially obtain it, he shows you the first Demiguise Statue, a depiction of a strange creature that's carrying a glowing orb. The orb, known as a Demiguise Moon, is something you can only collect when it's nighttime. As such, if you want to look for these objects, you'll need to periodically advance the game's day-night cycle via the world map.

　　

How to upgrade the Alohomora spell

In any case, there are multiple Hogwarts Legacy Demiguise Statues in the game world. You'll locate two more as you're tackling Gladwin's quest (which requires you to complete the objectives stealthily). After that, he'll ask you to find additional Demiguise Moons to gain Alohomora upgrades. There are a couple of tiers/quest phases, and you'll have to return to Gladwin to receive the upgraded versions:

　　Alohomora level 2 - Collect 9 Demiguise Moons.Alohomora level 3 - Collect 13 Demiguise Moons.The quest from Gladwin turns this entire area into a stealth section, but it does reward you with two Demiguise Moons. The rest need to be collected by free-roaming.

Hogwarts Castle Demiguise Statues and Demiguise Moons

Below, we list the Hogwarts Legacy Demiguise Statues in the castle itself. Do take note that you'll need nine Demiguise Moons to upgrade the Alohomora spell. Because higher-level locks exist in some areas, you'll likely visit Hogsmeade to find a few key items there just for the upgrade.

　　Library Annex: Library - Head back to the Restricted Section basement. It's just past the Eye Chest.Library Annex: Divination Classroom - Inside the classroom itself.Library Annex: Potions Classroom - Head to the left and go down the steps. Open the level 1 door and check the next hallway. There's a level 2 door to your left. The item is inside the room.Bell Tower Wing: Hogwarts North Exit - Check the nearby gatehouse, which happens to have a level 1 lock.Bell Tower Wing: Beast Classroom - The hut itself has a level 2 lock. Grab the object inside the professor's bedroom.Astronomy Wing: Professor Fig's Classroom - On top of a desk next to the fireplace.Astronomy Wing: Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower - Take the exit to your left and head to the Hall of Herodiana. Make a right and you should see a level 1 locked door. Hogsmeade Village Demiguise Statues and Demiguise Moons

For the Hogsmeade Demiguise Statues and Demiguise Moons in Hogwarts Legacy, we've opted to include a map due to the clearer layout. A few of these spots have objects that are readily obtained, or some with only level 1 locks. A couple, however, have level 2 locks.

　　This map contains the locations of Demiguise Statues in Hogsmeade Village. We've denoted which ones have a level 1 lock and which ones have a level 2 lock.Tomes and Scrolls - In the shopkeeper's bedroom right next to an Eye Chest.Hog's Head - In the wine cellar.Dervish and Banges - On top of the counter.Three Broomsticks - You can enter using the main door. Climb up the staircase all the way to the top floor and open the level 1 door.Three Broomsticks (outside and to the right) - Go inside the house right next to Three Broomstick. The door has a level 1 lock.Brood and Peck - It's inside the small house just across the street. It's got a level 1 lock.Honeydukes (back) - Check the area behind Honeydukes. Highlands Demiguise Statues and Demiguise Moons

This section of the Hogwarts Legacy Demiguise Statues will be tackled a bit differently. That's because hamlets in the Highlands tend to be relatively small areas with very few houses. As such, we'll check out each hamlet from north to south, while citing the houses with Demiguise Moons and if they're locked by default. Moreover, if you want to reach the southern half of the map, you'll need to go through the mountain tunnel in the Coastal Cavern region.

Eventually, you'll meet someone named Piers Pemberton. It seems he's got something to do with the Demiguise objecs pestering Gladwin.

　　In any case, once you've collected all Demiguise Moons in Hogwarts Legacy, you'll receive the "Demiguise Dread" achievement. Talk to Piers once more, then inform Gladwin about the whole thing to conclude the quest.
