Paradox today released the demo for its forthcoming PC title Hearts of Iron 2. The military real-time strategy game is set during World War II and is, obviously, the sequel to 2002's Hearts of Iron. Available on GameSpot DLX, the 89MB demo lets gamers try out a battle as either the Axis or Allies in the Ardennes offensive. Molotov-like diplomacy and crafty economic maneuvering are just as important as blazing blitzkriegs in the title's cerebral gameplay. The full version of Hearts of Iron 2 is scheduled for release on January 4 in the US and sometime in February in Europe.
