Haven Studios' new IP Fairgame$ has been announced during the PlayStation Showcase.

　　Fairgame$ is the new IP from the PlayStation studios-owned studios led by Jade Raymond. According to the official blog post on the PlayStation Blog, the competitive title is a "fresh, modern take on the heist genre", in which players become part of an underground movement to rob the ultra-rich and rebalance the scales.

　　Haven Studios was acquired by Sony last year, and while we initially believed that the studio's new project would be a PS5-exclusive multiplayer title, we have now learned that it's also coming to PC - which is in line with earlier reports. Here's what Jade Raymond said about Haven's AAA project last year:

　　"We’ve made amazing progress in a short time thanks to our talented, passionate team and their exceptional contributions", she wrote. "We established a culture at Haven grounded in kindness, adaptability and courage that unlocks creativity. Our first new IP for PlayStation is on track to deliver a AAA multiplayer experience with a vision to build a systemic and evolving world focused on freedom, thrill, and playfulness that will keep players entertained and engaged for years."

　　In the official blog post about Fairgame$, Creative Director Mathieu Leduc also provided some additional details about the game. "Every member of our team shares our vision to create welcoming and inclusive multiplayer experiences that glue communities together", he writes. "This shared enthusiasm is the driving force behind our heist fantasy – how it really encourages you to work together in crews to plan and execute epic heists in the style and fashion you want."

　　As said, Fairgame$ is coming to both PlayStation 5 and PC. A release date has yet to be revealed, and more information about the title will be shared as soon as the studio has more to share.
