In Hasbro's news about its merger with MicroProse, Hasbro Interactive president Tom Dusenberry commented that the company is including Dreamcast in its plans. In a statement today, Dusenberry said, "We also look forward to taking these great games to new platforms including the Sony PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, and more."
Hasbro announced today that it has completed its offer to buy all outstanding shares of MicroProse. Yesterday the planned merger was put into effect, by which MicroProse becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Hasbro.
