Coming up on two years after its release, Halo 5 continues to get new content and updates. In 343's latest weekly blog post, the developer talked about the big new update today for Halo 5's Big Team Battle multiplayer mode.
Starting off, the mode Assault is now playable in the mode, featuring BRs to start and a longer match timer. As for the new maps, there are five in all, each of which was made by community members using Halo 5's robust Forge tools.
In addition to Big Team Assault, the Big Team Battle playlist features Big Team CTF, Big Team Slayer, and Big Team Strongholds. You can see a full rundown of the maps for all modes here.
In other Halo news, the delayed Halo Wars 2 DLC, Colony, is now out on Xbox One and PC. The new leader, Colony, comes to the game as part of patch that makes bug fixes and balance changes. You can see a full rundown of what's new using the links below.

The first Halo Wars 2 DLC leader, Kinsano, came out in March. There will be five more leaders coming to the game over time, in addition to a pair of new campaign missions.
