Take-Two Interactive's Rockstar Games has announced that Chicago-based house label Guidance Recordings will supply the soundtrack for its upcoming PlayStation 2 off-road launch title, Smuggler's Run. Guidance Recordings is one of the most revered US house music labels, featuring groundbreaking artists such as Boo Williams, Aquanauts, and Funky Green Dogs.

　　"It is an honor for Guidance Recordings to be given the opportunity to provide the soundtrack to Rockstar's Smuggler's Run," said Ivan Pavlovich, president of Guidance Recordings. "The idea that our music will be used to enhance and direct the mood of the game and the player is extremely gratifying. Normally, we get this sort of gratification and experience when we hear our records being played at the clubs, but this is a brand new arena for us, and we are looking forward to the challenge."

　　Smuggler's Run charges you with the goal of sneaking contraband over international borders while evading law enforcement, outwitting rival gangs, and negotiating the rugged, vast terrain. The Smuggler's Run soundtrack will be mixed by Oscar G. from Funky Green Dogs - one of the world's most sought after house DJs. The track list is as follows:
