Grand Theft Auto IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony isn't expected to sing on the Xbox 360 until October 29. That said, those looking to extend their GTAIV experience on Microsoft's console in the here and now have a good opportunity to do so this week.
Xbox Live director of programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb said today via his official blog that Gold-level subscribers can pick up GTAIV: The Lost and the Damned for $15 (MSP 1,200) this week, a 25 percent savings. The add-on will also be available bundled with the Ballad of Gay Tony on the $40 retail disc compilation Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, also due out on October 29.
According to Microsoft, The Lost and the Damned set day-one Xbox Live Arcade sales records when it debuted exclusively on the Xbox 360 in February. Though Take-Two has yet to attach a specific sales number for the add-on, analysts have predicted downloads will reach the 2 million mark by the time the second and final expansion arrives next month.
